EA Expands the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 MultiplayerThe Electronic Arts Inc. studio, DICE, announced two new massive multiplayer maps for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The new maps will be unlocked when the game launches in North America on 2nd March and in the United Kingdom on 5th March. The two maps include the Laguna Alta map playable in Conquest mode, and the Nelson Bay map playable in Rush Mode. The new map pack brings the total number of multiplayer maps up to ten. DICE will release another map pack for free later in March, giving players the opportunity to experience the Arica Harbor map in Conquest mode, and the Laguna Presa map in Rush Mode. The content packs are unlocked by simply inputting a VIP code available in the box.

Senior Producer of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Patrick Bach, stated that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will redefine the online modern warfare when it releases on 2nd March, and that they are deeply committed to the First-Person Shooter community and Battlefield fans worldwide. He also explained that these to map packs are just the beginning, and that they are planning ongoing support for the community by always keeping the experience fresh and ensuring the best possible game play ever.
