SEGA announced today the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I on the WiiWare. The game will also be available on the PlayStation Network today, and on the Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 tomorrow, on the 13th of October.
“Fans have been eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Sonic’s 2D saga for quite some time,” said Haruki Satomi, vice president of Digital Business at SEGA of America. “It gives me great pleasure to say that the wait is over - players around the world can now experience Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I on the console of their choice!”
Players will encounter familiar moves like the Spin Dash and the Homing Attack, in order to sprint through the rough enemies, traps and hazards.
Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I is now available on the WiiWare for 1500 Wii Points, and very soon on the PlayStation Network for the price of $14.99, while on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, the price will be 1200 MS Points.
