Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack Now Available On PC and PS3
Activision Publishing announced that the second downloadable map package that contains new multiplayer maps for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 military first-person shooter is now available in North America for the Sony PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System and all over the world for Windows-Based Personal Computers.
The downloadable Resurgence map package for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available today, the 7th of July, 2010, for the Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console in Europe and Australia.
The second downloadable content package for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 entitled The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Package, will be available to download today from 6.00 PM UK Time and 7.00 PM CET. The pack will be released on the Xbox LIVE Online entertainment network. The second map pack follows the ground breaking records from the first map pack, with millions of gamers around the world joining the actions in its opening days.
The second downloadable content package for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 military first-person shooter video game will be released exclusively on the Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console on the 2nd of June, 2010. Infinity Ward and Microsoft released a video in which they review the five new multiplayer maps from the latest “Resurgence Package” downloadable content.
The publisher of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 video game hit has announced that a second downloadable content pack for the game is currently planned to arrive in the second half of 2010, which means it will release sometime between July and December.
CEO of Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick, stated that thirty five others have left the creator of the Modern Warfare 2 video-game, Infinity Ward, since Activision has fired the two lead executives. More are expected to follow.
The drama with Activision and Infinity Ward continues once again. Thirty-eight ex and current Infinity Ward employees have filled a lawsuit against the publisher of the popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 first-person shooter, Activision, as reported by the LA Times. The Infinity Ward employees are claiming that they are owed between seventy-eight and one hundred and twenty-five million “United States Dollars (USD)” in royalties in addition to potential damages.

Call of Duty 6 – Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward for Playstation 3, Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. Published by Activision, the game was officially announced on 11th of February 2009 and was released worldwide on 10th of November 2009. The game is a direct sequel to – Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare, continuing the same storyline, and is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty Franchise.
