Long-Term Agreement for Call of Duty DLC First On Xbox 360
One of the leading video game publishers worldwide, Activision Publishing, and Microsoft, announced today that all Call of Duty game add-ons and downloadable content packages will be first released on the Xbox LIVE Online Entertainment Network exclusively, courtesy of the multi-year agreement between the two companies.
The agreement officially began in 2009, and now extends for all downloadable content packages for the mega-blockbuster Call of Duty Franchise throughout the year 2012, which includes Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The special interest media group, Future, confirmed that the June releases of its Official Xbox and PlayStation Magazines in the United Kingdom will reveal the first in-depth previews of the upcoming title Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The name of the new upcoming Call of Duty game by Treyarch is “Call of Duty: Black Ops”. Call of Duty: Black Ops is expected to release on 9th of November 2010, as stated on the official site callofduty.com/blackops.
F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a modern horror first person shooter developed by Monolith Productions. Published by Vivendi Universal, the game was released in October 2005 for Windows, and was ported for the Sony PlayStation 3 in April 2007 and Xbox 360 in October 2006 by Day 1 Studios. There are two expansion packs for F.E.A.R. released by Timegate Studios, F.E.A.R. – Extraction Point in October 2006 and F.E.A.R. – Perseus Mandate in November 2007. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is the direct sequel of the game and was released in February 2009 by Monolith Productions.
