Call of Duty: Black Ops Announced By TreyarchThe name of the new upcoming Call of Duty game by Treyarch is “Call of Duty: Black Ops”. Call of Duty: Black Ops is expected to release on 9th of November 2010, as stated on the official site callofduty.com/blackops.

A developer blog post stated that Treyarch are very excited to reveal their latest development, which is Call of Duty: Black Ops, and that more details are going to be unfolded in the future at callofduty.com/blackops.

Activision has stated earlier that Treyarch will be developing a new title in the Call of Duty franchise this year, while Infinity Ward works on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Mike Griffith Resigns from Activision BlizzardThe CEO and president of Activision Blizzard’s Activision Publishing subsidiary named Mike Griffith, has resigned his roles as announced by Activision Blizzard. This is effective from 23rd of April, although Mike Griffith will continue to work for the company as a vice-chairman of Activision Blizzard on a twelve month rolling contract.

It is not clear if Griffith’s resignation is somehow based on the public and messy battle with several of the Infinity Ward studio members, following the ground-breaking success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which was released late last year.
