Treyarch Announced Call of Duty: Black Ops
The name of the new upcoming Call of Duty game by Treyarch is “Call of Duty: Black Ops”. Call of Duty: Black Ops is expected to release on 9th of November 2010, as stated on the official site callofduty.com/blackops.
A developer blog post stated that Treyarch are very excited to reveal their latest development, which is Call of Duty: Black Ops, and that more details are going to be unfolded in the future at callofduty.com/blackops.
Activision has stated earlier that Treyarch will be developing a new title in the Call of Duty franchise this year, while Infinity Ward works on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
The CEO and president of Activision Blizzard’s Activision Publishing subsidiary named Mike Griffith, has resigned his roles as announced by Activision Blizzard. This is effective from 23rd of April, although Mike Griffith will continue to work for the company as a vice-chairman of Activision Blizzard on a twelve month rolling contract.

Call of Duty 6 – Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward for Playstation 3, Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. Published by Activision, the game was officially announced on 11th of February 2009 and was released worldwide on 10th of November 2009. The game is a direct sequel to – Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare, continuing the same storyline, and is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty Franchise. Modern Warfare was released in relation with two other Call of Duty titles such as Call of Duty – Modern Warfare – Reflex for the Nintendo Wii and Call of Duty – Modern Warfare – Mobilized for the Nintendo DS.
