bitComposer Games announced today that it will be bringing its popular arcade space shooter, Ion Assault, which is based on particle gameplay, to Valve’s Steam Platform for PC.

Ion Assault is only available for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 video gaming console at the moment. The game combines classic arcade shooter elements with familiar game concepts like Asteroids, resulting in an innovative and fun arcade.

Ion Assault will be available on Valve’s Steam Platform in November 2010, for Windows-Based PCs.

The developer of UDF: 3D Tactics, SquidJuice Games, which is based in Auckland, announced the release of the first in a new line of arcade style iPhone games UDF: Spitfire. This new line will continue the series of titles named “United Defense Force (UDF)”. Collectively, they will be called “UDF: Arcade”.

“UDF: Spitfire” brings back retro arcade action in a futuristic setting. Players fly a futuristic re-imagining of the Spitfire aircraft through a range of different regions, fighting off the enemy invaders. Tilting the iPhone controls the pitch of the aircraft, and tapping on the screen fires the weapons.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection is a fighting arcade game developed and published by Namco for the Sony PlayStation Portable gaming device as a port of the Sony PlayStation 2 title – Tekken 5. It is the fifth installment of the popular arcade fighting game, but technically it is the seventh game in the franchise. Tekken: Dark Resurrection was released in July 2006 in North America and in September 2006 in Europe.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection is a port of Tekken 5 for the Sony PlayStation Portable, thus it follow the same story as it, but with a couple of additional elements. Lili Rochefort wants to help her father Sergei Dragunov and end his financial problems by killing Mishima Zaibatsu. Also her father is a Spetsnaz member who was sent to capture Jin Kazama.

Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that the Madden NFL Arcade will be available on the Xbox LIVE Arcade on November 25th, and is already available on the PlayStation® Store.
