Futuremark Games Studio revealed their plans for a second downloadable content pack for their PC exclusive multiplayer first-person shooter, Shattered Horizon. Titled "Firepower", the new downloadable content pack will add new weapons and grenades encouraging different styles of game play, providing the opportunity for new team strategies. The new downloadable expansion pack will be free for all players who own the game, just like the Moonrise map pack released in February.
Producer at Futuremark Games Studio, Jaakko Haapasalo, explained that since the launch of Shattered Horizon, they have shown their thanks to players who have supported them by releasing free downloadable content. He also said that the commitment to the community continues with the Firepower pack which will add new weapons and grenades to the game. Jaakko Haapasalo also explained that while they are not revealing the release date or specific details just yet, the players in their Arconauts program have already started to help them test and balance the new weapons.
Shattered Horizon takes place in a catastrophic explosion on the Moon with filled near-Earth space with billions of tons of rocky debris. The objective of the game is for teams of players to fight in zero gravity to control the limited supplies that mean the difference between survival and death in the cold of space.
