The Guitar Hero App for iPhone and iPod Touch receives the ABKCO Records’ Rolling Stones Song package which features “Gimme Shelter” and “Honky Tonk Women”. The package is now available for purchase at the in-game app.

Chief Operating Officer for Guitar Hero, David Haddad, said that they are thrilled with the explosive launch of the Guitar Hero app, and that bringing the Guitar Hero experience to the iPhone and iPod Touch allows their fans to experience and interact with great music in a compelling way, anytime and anywhere. He also stated that they have seen great support for the app and also for the exciting additional game tracks.

Guitar Hero for the iPhone and iPod Touch is available for purchase on the Apple App Store. The game comes with tracks from Queen, Rise Against, The Rolling Stones, Vampire Weekend, Weezer and the White Stripes. Song Packages for the game are only downloadable through the Guitar Hero App.
