New Medal of Honor Game in 2010An all-new Medal of Honor is coming in 2010, and for the first time in the 10 years it’s going to walk away from the World War II scene. Medal of Honor will take place in a war-torn Afghanistan in the modern days.

Electronic Arts Inc. revealed today that they will release an all-new Medal of Honor in the summer of 2010. The game will introduce the Tier One Operator, which is a unseen force controlled by the National Command Authority, who takes on missions no one else can handle. That’s why the development team has been working with some Tier 1 Operators from the U.S. Special Operations Community since the beginning to create a greater modern war experience. Medal of Honor reveals the mission of today’s elite American soldier inspired by events from reality.

The Medal of Honor development team has been selected carefully by the General Manager Sean Decker, Executive Producer Greg Goodrich and Senior Creative Director Rich Farrelly. EALA and EA DICE are working together do deliver a world-class war game, with a fantastic single-player campaign, as well as a thrilling multiplayer experience.

The Executive Producer Greg Goodrich said that they wanted to stay close to the roots of Medal of Honor when they first started to reinvent it and bring it into modern times. He also stated that the Tier 1 Operator is the most disciplined and prepared soldier on the battlefield – a living, breathing instrument of war. Greg also stated that they are honored to have the opportunity to work closely with these men to create a game, which will share their experience.

The General Manager of EALA Sean Decker stated that EA will follow its traditions and tell the story of the character, and of today’s war. He also stated that they are very proud to bring together these two powerful development teams to make the title a reality. Medal of Honor promises to be a thrilling entry into the modern war shooters.
