Love & Marriage in Mount & Blade: Warband

Mount & Blade: WarbandIn conjunction with Valentine's Day, Paradox Interactive presents a special developer interview for all the adorers of the upcoming Mount & Blade: Warband.

Mount & Blade: Warband is the multiplayer sequel to Mount & Blade which is going to release in March of 2010. Additional features include sixty-four player horse-riding combat and new gameplay based on marriage.

Players can join Armagan Yavuz, who is the Lead Developer at Taleworlds Entertainment, as he takes them through the new features of Mount & Blade: Warband during the Paradox Interactive Convention.

Armagan states that romance is a very important aspect of real life and that they wanted to translate that into the game, because it is a different kind of challenge.

Mount & Blade: Warband will be released in the United States via digital distribution on 30th of March and 2nd of April in the United Kingdom.

Mount & Blade: Warband exciting features include up to sixty-four deathmatch, team deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Conquest and Siege multiplayer modes; the ability to journey on your adventure alone, or recruit and train an army, and gain experience and skills while your soldiers evolve into a deadly fighting force; State-of-the-art rendering technologies; and the ability to marry a lady of the realm for romance or cold political gain.

The original Mount & Blade game is currently on an 85%-off promotion sale on Steam until the 15th of February.
