Taz is accidentally kidnapped by Marvin the Martian, who is stealing the landscape of the Earth to make his home planet more scenic. In Galactic Taz Ball, Taz must "spin" his way across the pieces of Earth floating in space, in order to stop Marvin the Martian from destroying Earth, and get back home.
Galactic Taz Ball features two worlds which are with completely different game play mechanics.
The "Overworld" is an action style 3D game playable on the top screen of the Nintendo DS portable gaming device, and with a unique track ball controls thanks to the Nintendo DS stylus on the bottom touch screen. When the players moves Taz fast enough, he turns into a tornado that can destroy barriers and enemies on the way.
The "Underworld" is a side-scrolling puzzle game which is played on the bottom touch screen of the Nintendo DS portable gaming device. In Underworld, Taz navigates through a maze of active machinery and gadgets.
Both worlds combine a unique and fun journey, which is perfect for Taz's wild character style.
Galactic Taz Ball is developed by WayForward Technologies and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the Nintendo DS Portable Gaming Device in May, 2010.
