Electronic Arts Inc. announced that the popular game-mode expansion pack that creates a new way of playing FIFA 2010, FIFA 2010 Ultimate Team, is now available for download on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles.

The previous Ultimate Team expansion game-mode for FIFA 2009 was the most popular Downloadable Content ever released by EA SPORTS. It had over thirty-five million gold, silver and bronze packs opened, and over fifty million auctions for players and items completed. It also had over ten billion in-game coins exchanged in trades as football fans and players took on the challenge to put a personally crafted team up worldwide.

FIFA 2010 Ultimate Team is half the price of the FIFA 2009 Ultimate Team. It is available for only 400 Microsoft Points or £3.99 through the Sony PlayStation Network. FIFA 2010 Ultimate Team enables gamers to manage one or multiple squads simultaneously. It also allows players to compete against each other in the dynamically updates online tournaments. A five game free trial is available for fans to experience the game mode by creating a team with the starter pack of players.

FIFA 2010 Ultimate Team is now available for purchase for only 400 Microsoft Point and £3.99 as a download through Xbox LIVE and the Sony PlayStation Network to FIFA 2010. FIFA 2010 requires an internet connection in order to play.
