Ferrari Returning to Need for Speed after Seven Years of Hiatus.Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that the elite automaker brand Ferrari is returning to work with Need for Speed again, after a seven year hiatus. Need for Speed: Shift players will be able to download a new content pack that delivers ten stunning Ferrari vehicles including the 430 Scuderia and the Ultra-Rare FXX and F50 GT. Need for Speed: Shift players will feel the rush of being behind the wheel of a Ferrari car. The downloadable content-pack will be available on 16th of Febraury.

The Ferrari Racing Pack is the latest downloadable content for the Need For Speed: Shift racing game, and will be available worldwide today on the Xbox 360 home console for only eight-hundred (800) Microsoft Point. Need for Speed: Shift and Xbox LIVE accounts are required in order to be able to purchase it.

In addition to the ten new Ferrari cars, the Ferrari Racing Series will also extend Need for Speed: Shift's career mode with fourty-six new Ferrari challenges, designed especialy for Ferrari cars. Player will be able to gain 125 gamerpoints as a reward for completing the perfect Ferrari Package with various exciting challenges. All the new Ferrari vehicles can be also taken online, where players can compete with each other, and proove who has the skills to master those high-performance machines.

Vice President of Electronic Arts Keith Munro stated that Need for Speed is globally recognized for showcasing amazing cars, including some of the world's most desirable high-performance vehicles. He also stated that they are really thrilled to be partnering again with Ferrari.

Need for Speed SHIFT features a stunning first-person cockpit view that delivers the true racer's experience. The performance of the player is based on the unique driving skills and style of each palyer.

Need for Speed SHIFT is now available on the Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Sony PlayStation Portable, Mobile, and on the iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
