Activision Publishing announced that James Bond 007: Blood Stone is being developed by Bizzare Creations. It is expected to be an original Bond experience from the legendary screenwriter Bruce Feirstein. Award Winning artist Joss Stone will create original music for the game.

“James Bond 007: Blood Stone captures the cinematic intensity of a Bond film by immersing players in an intriguing conspiracy that will require them to think and act like James Bond,” said David Pokress, Head of Marketing for Licensed Properties, Activision Publishing. “In addition, the game will feature a diverse array of multi-player modes and debut strategic objective-based game play that will allow Xbox 360, PS3TM and PC players to battle as teams of spies and mercenaries through authentic Bond locales.”

A limited edition version of Medal of Honor was announced by Electronic Arts, in which players will get access to the unique weapon, MP7, and also access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns from day one. Other players will have to level up in order to unlock those shotguns.

Executive Producer of Medal of Honor, Greg Goodrich, said that access to a weapon like the MP7 will allow players to experience a tool developed with the Special Operations Community in mind. He also said that with is light weight and high rate of fire and its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle.

Electronic Arts announced today that their award-winning EA SPORTS FIFA Gameplay on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is going to be implemented in the arriving FIFA 11 for Windows-Based PCs. The football game console engine has been optimized to run on Windows-Based PCs, delivering next generation gameplay to the FIFA 11.

505 Games today announced a global agreement with Russian developer Biart Studio, to publish Deep Black on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system platforms.

Set to release in Q1 of 2011  the unique underwater setting of Deep Black combines action-packed battles with an immersive story line that blends science-fiction, espionage and bio-terror. Realistic underwater physics add intensity to this third-person action thriller.

The leading video game developer and studio of Electronic Arts, BioWare, confirmed today the development of Dragon Age 2 at their studio based in Edmonton.

Dragon Age 2 is going to be the sequel to the triple-platinum-selling Dragon Age: Origins which received “RPG of the Year” in 2009 by Game Informer, G4, IGN and SpikeTV. More action and a new responsive combat system with a dynamic storyline will be introduced in the new Dragon Age 2 RPG. The game is expected to release in March of 2011 on the Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and Windows-Based PCs.

The 5-in-1 Arcade Hits compilation of five great hit games is getting a new release date after the original one was postponed.

The game is developed by Grip Games, and will be released in Europe for the PlayStation Store on the 7th of July, 2010, and in North America for the PlayStation Store on the 6th of July (already released).

The compilation will cost only $3.99. Grip Games is additionally launching its unique leaderboards system that will allow players to compare their best results with the world throughout Facebook for the first time in a minis game.

Activision Publishing announced that the second downloadable map package that contains new multiplayer maps for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 military first-person shooter is now available in North America for the Sony PlayStation 3 Computer Entertainment System and all over the world for Windows-Based Personal Computers.

The downloadable Resurgence map package for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available today, the 7th of July, 2010, for the Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console in Europe and Australia.

The global publisher and developer of video games, UTV Ignition Entertainment, has announced the agreement between them and Hothead Games to co-publish a game entitled Swarm around the world on all the available platforms throughout digital channels.

Swarm is game in which the player can take control of fifty utterly fearless Swarmites and then drive them through an entertaining (and often suicidal) battle for the greater good. The player will have the ability to run, bash, huddle, boost, stack, jump, throw and push his way through destruction, while collecting valuable DNA and ensuring that at least one of those Swarmite survives.

Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising, and SEGA of America, announced today that the new and second downloadable map package for the Aliens vs Predator first-person shooter will be released on the 7th of July, 2010, for the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game console, The Sony PlayStation Store for the Sony PlayStation 3 video gaming console, and Valve’s Steam platform for Windows-Based PCs.

The Bughunt Map Pack is the first newly developed downloadable map package that will include four brand new maps and weather types for the game.

The five great hit games developed and published by Grip Games are finally getting their release date and pricing. They are going to be released in a “5-in-1 Arcade hits” compilation for the Sony PlayStation Portable and Sony PlayStation 3 gaming consoles with multiplayer modes and various difficulty settings. The games mixing the compilation are going to be 8ball Pool, Pairs, 15Puzzle, Solitaire and Tetroid.

The release date for the 5-in-1 Arcade hits on the European PlayStation Store is the 30th of June, and for the United States PlayStation Store is the 6th of July, 2010. The package will cost only $3.99 for five great games.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced their new working title, Silent Hill 8, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles.

The game is expected to release in the next year, 2011, and will still remain true to the original roots of the franchise. Players will be able to experience the same third-person horror action, with an all-new thought-provoking storyline.

The eight Silent Hill will offer a wealth of new elements in order to provide a deep and psychological horror experience. Players will also be able to complete a variety of side quests that will change depending on their play style.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced today a new horror-themed game entitled Neverdead, which will be released on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles.

Neverdead is going to be a third-person action game which takes place in a fantasy world influenced by horror in the near-future where supernatural battles between the human race and extraordinary creatures span the vast city landscape. Players will have to decimate waves of unholy enemies while wielding a unique butterfly design-inspired sword and a variety of guns.
