Highborn Update for iPhoneThe successful strategy game for iPhone and iPod Touch, Highborn was recently updated to support iOS4. The update also included several new features that were requested by the members of the community.

The update of Highborn is now available on the Apple App Store. It includes the following fixes and features:

* iOS 4 compatibility
* The option to skip viewing enemy 3D combat
* The option to disable combat spell display if no spells are currently available

The Scourge Project PatchA new patch is announced for The Scourge Project: Episodes 1 and 2 and is going to release on the 5th of July 2010 on Monday. The game is also on a special Summer Sales deal at $4.99.

The new patch v1.2 will be publically made available through Gamersgate.

The update will feature the following list of fixes and improvements: Echo AI General improvements. Echo AI navigation improvements. Teleport problem with someone incapacitated experienced by some client. Crash when spamming the “E” key to enter and exit a stationary weapon. No auto team selection in multiplayer when coming from a Deathmatch server and entering a server with team based matches.

UTV Ignition Entertainment Unveiled Swarm

Swarm 2011The global publisher and developer of video games, UTV Ignition Entertainment, has announced the agreement between them and Hothead Games to co-publish a game entitled Swarm around the world on all the available platforms throughout digital channels.

Swarm is game in which the player can take control of fifty utterly fearless Swarmites and then drive them through an entertaining (and often suicidal) battle for the greater good. The player will have the ability to run, bash, huddle, boost, stack, jump, throw and push his way through destruction, while collecting valuable DNA and ensuring that at least one of those Swarmite survives.

AvP 2010 Bughunt Map PackTwentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising, and SEGA of America, announced today that the new and second downloadable map package for the Aliens vs Predator first-person shooter will be released on the 7th of July, 2010, for the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game console, The Sony PlayStation Store for the Sony PlayStation 3 video gaming console, and Valve’s Steam platform for Windows-Based PCs.

The Bughunt Map Pack is the first newly developed downloadable map package that will include four brand new maps and weather types for the game.

Beach Bowling 3D for iPhone and iPod TouchFDG Entertainment announced that it is in final development stages of the brand new casual bowling game combined with a physics engine and stunning graphics, Beach Bowling 3D, for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Beach Bowling 3D is expected to hit the App Store in the mid of July 2010. The game will offer a unique gameplay with a randomized start position system and realtime day and night cycles.

An iPad Version of Beach Bowling 3D will also be released later this year. The game is a co-production between FDG Entertainment and bitforge.
