Battlefield: Bad Company 2 now available in the United States

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 released in North America and soon in Europe.The Electronic Arts Inc. studio, DICE, announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is now available across the retail stores in North America. The game has received acclaim across the world for its intense first-person modern warfare and spectacular destructible environments plus seamless multiplayer experience supported by dedicated servers.

The breathtaking squad based single-player campaign just warms up the player for the stunning multiplayer action experience that is expected to rightfully challenge Modern Warfare for the multiplayer crown.

Senior Producer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Patrick Bach, stated that they are extremely proud to deliver a game that they feel is the best Battlefield experience to date. He also stated that fans of the series will be thrilled to get back in the sandbox, but now with stunningly beautiful landscapes, supreme vehicle warfare and totally destructible environments. Patrick Bach also explained that they are also so excited to welcome new First-Person Shooter and action gamers who will find the game play spontaneous and refreshing.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 promises to be one of the finest online First-Person Shooter video games of 2010 with its increasingly intense vehicular warfare, destruction and variety of weapons in the huge sandbox environments. The dedicated servers allow smooth and seamless online game-play that will help it stand out among the competition. The game is developed using state of the art graphics technology. The Windows-Based PC version of the game is the first title in the franchise to be 3D-Ready and playable in DirectX 11 with the support of multiple monitors for properly equipped PCs.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is now available in North America and will be available in Europe on 4th of March, 2010 for the Xbox 360 Game Console, Sony PlayStation 3 entertainment system and Windows-Based PCs. Two all-new multiplayer maps will be unlocked today in North America at no extra charge with two more coming later in the month. The map packs are unlocked by a VIP code that is found in the box.
