Activision Publishing announced today that Call of Duty: Black Ops is in development by n-Space for the Nintendo DS portable gaming device.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Nintendo DS is going to take the handheld Call of Duty experience to a new level,” said Dan O’Leary, n-Space Studio Head. “From taking the controls of an attack helicopter to flying an experimental stealth fighter jet, players will have a wealth of new features to utilize.”

The Nintendo DS version of Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature unique online multiplayer mode with a Perk system, with six player max. A multiplayer online two-player cooperative mode will also be featured, as well as Arcade and Challenge modes.

The Independent developer named Jeybee released today a unique game entitled Flip It! Gyro, which utilizes the iPhone 4 Gyroscope Technology.

The game is now available on the Apple App Store for less than a dollar – $0.99.

“The new iPhone 4 technology is really exciting. It allows you to harness the device’s movement in a way that’s never been possible before,” said Jey Biddulph, founder of Jeybee. “I wanted to create a game based around these new capabilities, playable by iPhone users of all ages, and enjoyable by whole families.”

Paradox Interactive announced that Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West is going to be available for half the price on Valve’s Steam Platform. The game is also going to be free to play the whole weekend, to give players the ability to take a glimpse into the game.

The world’s premier publisher and developer of Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games, NCSoft, revealed the official release date for the free expansion pack for Aion entitled Aion: Assault on Balaurea.

Aion: Assault on Balaurea is going to provide another exciting chapter in the world of Aion, which will immerse players into a rich and unique storyline.

Activision Publishing announced that James Bond 007: Blood Stone is being developed by Bizzare Creations. It is expected to be an original Bond experience from the legendary screenwriter Bruce Feirstein. Award Winning artist Joss Stone will create original music for the game.

Tripwire Interactive is was very happy to announce that it will be publishing a first person puzzle-adventure game by Teotl Studios entitled, The Ball, on Valve’s Steam Platform and in stores around the world.

“The Ball” has won a couple of top prizes including the latest “Make Something Unreal” contest by Epic. It is following the steps of Red Orchestra, Tripwire’s game, to make a big leap from a mod to becoming a full commercial game.

The commercial release of “The Ball” is enhanced and expanded with more great features, including a full six hours campaign gameplay.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced today that the first ever version of Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night is now available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch. The game combines puzzle-orientated elements and role-playing elements to make a unique experience using key elements and characters from the franchise.

The player takes the perspective of the son of Dracula, Alucard. He is also able to choose from a wide range of characters from the Castlevania franchise. The player will have to face challenging puzzles that when completed, will reward him with useful items for upcoming levels.

A limited edition version of Medal of Honor was announced by Electronic Arts, in which players will get access to the unique weapon, MP7, and also access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns from day one. Other players will have to level up in order to unlock those shotguns.

Executive Producer of Medal of Honor, Greg Goodrich, said that access to a weapon like the MP7 will allow players to experience a tool developed with the Special Operations Community in mind.
